  • Using computers.

No need to bring your own computer, though you're more than welcome to do so. We have a total of FOUR computer systems in the house, all connected to the internet.

In fact, if you're a gamer, feel free to bring your box, keyboard and mouse. Well, we have mice and keyboards at the house, but you'll probably prefer to use your own. On level five, the upper entrance level of the house, there are THREE work stations, one of which has a 40 inch LCD Samsung monitor. Feel free to connect to that, and the associated Logitech speaker system, and game away. The other desks have smaller monitors, if you feel like bringing a friend to play games with. Network cables are on the desk for you to plug directly into the network switch. You can also log your computer onto the Wi Fi network if you so desire.

Level five has some desk space if you want to get some work done with your laptop; there are three basic computers with monitors, keyboards and mice, if you just want to do some email or basic surfing. These computers are not the fastest; they use Window's XP operating systems, but they work and are connected to the internet.

Level four, the living room / kitchen level, has one Windows XP endowed computer system, connected to the internet via Wi Fi. Again, not the fastest box in the west, but, it's adequate for web surfing and email work.

Feel free to use your internet enabled devices throughout the house by logging onto our high speed DSL Wi Fi network. The network name and password will be in your welcome email. And, it's above, in this FAQ section. You are reading the whole FAQ section now, aren't you?
