Ah, one more thing about beeps.
Most all the computers are powered by battery back up units. Shrill rapid beeps emanating from level five (the Office area) are usually the result of depleted batteries in the APC battery back ups units. If one of these beeps, just turn it off and turn it back on again. If that doesn't fix it, turn it off, and just power the computer or your electronics directly into a power strip or the floor / wall receptacle.
Sometimes these battery units die. Doesn't happen too often, but, it happens.
